This handcrafted necklace pairs natural Arizona Bisbee turquoise nuggets with luminous mother of pearl and sterling silver, creating an elegant composition that feels both refined and distinctly Southwestern. The 24-inch length allows it to be worn beautifully on its own or layered with pendants from the Bootleg Silver Co. collections.

The Bisbee turquoise in this necklace carries a story of its own. More than a decade ago, my sister, while working for the Bureau of Land Management in Arizona, discovered these nuggets in a small family-owned turquoise shop near one of Arizona’s national parks. She tucked them away in her personal collection, where they remained untouched for over ten years before finding their way to my workbench.

Today, those carefully saved Bisbee nuggets have become part of this one-of-one necklace, paired with hand-selected mother of pearl and sterling silver to honor both the beauty of the materials and the journey they’ve taken before becoming wearable heirloom art.
