Inspired by my grandfather Merle—a rancher, cattleman, folk artist, leatherworker, self-taught metalsmith, and maker in every sense of the word—this collection celebrates lives defined by character, craftsmanship, resilience, and the enduring traditions of the American West.

Rather than selecting jewelry from a display case, every Merle Series commission begins with a conversation. Together, we discover the story you wish to preserve and design a one-of-a-kind heirloom that reflects the character, values, and traditions that shaped a life well lived.

The Merle Series is distinguished by substantial craftsmanship and bold design. Available as rings, pendants, bracelets, cuffs, earrings, bolo ties, belt buckles, money clips, conchos, hat bands, and other heirloom commissions, these pieces embrace heavier silverwork, architectural galleries, forged textures, and exceptional natural stones. Every design is intended to feel enduring, authentic, and worthy of being passed from one generation to the next.

Each piece is individually hand fabricated in my Arizona studio using sterling silver, fine silver, 14K yellow gold, 14K rose gold, and Black Hills Gold accents. Many of the gemstones begin as rough natural material and are artisan cut in-house, allowing every cabochon to be shaped specifically for the heirloom it will become.

Every Merle Series commission is one of a kind. Material selection is finalized during the design consultation, where precious metals and natural gemstones are thoughtfully chosen to reflect both the story being preserved and the strength of the finished design.

Every Merle Series commission is individually designed around your story and handcrafted in my Arizona studio. Final investment is determined by the overall design, precious metals, signature materials, gemstone selection, and fabrication complexity.

Every commission begins with a personal design consultation where we explore your story, discuss materials, and develop a one-of-a-kind heirloom tailored specifically to you. Once the design has been finalized, you'll receive a detailed proposal and commission quote before fabrication begins.

A 75% commission deposit reserves your place in the studio and allows work to begin on your heirloom.
