Hand-Forged Guatemalan Jade Artisan Ring – Mixed Metals
A one-of-a-kind studio ring featuring a hand-cut natural Guatemalan jade cabochon set in a sculptural forged frame. The jade was artisan-cut and polished by the maker, revealing deep forest-green tones with natural translucency and organic internal patterning.
The setting is hand-forged using a blend of sterling silver, fine silver, and 14k gold, incorporating elements of traditional Black Hills gold to add warmth and contrast to the piece. The metalwork features hammered textures, layered forms, and a custom forged shank that gives the ring both durability and a bold architectural presence.
The stone is bezel-set in fine silver and elevated within an open gallery that allows light to pass through the jade, enhancing its depth and color.
Every element of the ring—from the lapidary work to the forged metal—was completed by hand, making this a true studio-crafted original.
