The Heritage Series | The Maker’s Ring
Some pieces become part of a collection.
Others become part of a brand.
The Maker’s Ring is one of those pieces.
Featured in the signature portrait that represents Bootleg Silver Co., this is the original ring worn in the official brand image that has become the face of The Maker’s Merch Collection. From apparel and canvas prints to promotional materials, this one-of-a-kind ring has become inseparable from the story of my work as a metalsmith.
As Bootleg Silver Co. continues to grow, The Maker’s Ring will always remain the original work that became part of the studio’s visual identity—a piece that marks the intersection of craftsmanship, heritage, and the evolution of the brand itself.
At its center is a hand-carved Burmese Type A jadeite cabochon that I shaped myself, revealing soft moss green with natural hints of lavender throughout the stone. Flanking the jade are two carefully selected Arizona Kingman turquoise cabochons, creating a composition that bridges the landscapes that have shaped both my life and my work.
Entirely hand-forged from heavy-gauge sterling silver, the design reflects the philosophy behind the Desert Bloom Collection—bringing jadeite through an American Southwest lens while allowing every natural material to remain the focal point.
Like every piece in the Heritage Series, this ring was never created for a season or a trend. It was created to become part of someone’s story.
Today, it represents mine.
Tomorrow, it becomes part of yours.
